Kehinde Wiley

Kehinde Wiley known his naturalistic paintings that reference the work of Old Master painting illustrated of African Americans. In 2017, President Barack Obama requested a portrait of himself to be painted by Kehinde Wiley to be displayed with previous American Presidents in the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery,
According to the Columbus Museum of Art "Wiley has gained recent acclaim for his heroic portraits which address the image and status of young African-American men in contemporary culture." They hosted his work at a 2007 exhibition.
